Event Information
On March 13th, 2020 the nation was deprived of yet another innocent Black soul. One year later, we are coming together to celebrate the life of Breonna Taylor by declaring March 13 as "Breonna Taylor Day" in Delaware. As part of Breonna Taylor Day, we will hold a vigil to honor the life, joy and love of Breonna. Though we never knew her personally, the loss of her life has motivated us to stand up, speak out, and fight for real change in Delaware Join #NotJustAProtest and the Delaware Democratic Black Caucus for a virtual conversation featuring Black women and their stories, experiences, and insight about their encounters with police. They will also discuss ways to continue to demand justice in the name of Breonna Taylor and countless Black women killed at the hands of police.
