Dear Democrats:

As a result of the election of Lieutenant Governor-elect Bethany Hall-Long, who currently holds the 10th District Senate seat, there is an expected special election to fill her senatorial position. To date, the Department of Elections has not set the date of the special election.  Nevertheless, time is of the essence to select, support and elect our Democratic candidate.  In accordance with Delaware law, the Democratic Party nominates the candidate.  There is no primary election.

The Delaware Democratic Party has several field office accross the state to help provide the volunteer oppourtunites and resources to Democrats in every corner of the state. Stop by your nearest Democratic Field Office today!

Special Election will be held Tuesday, May 24, in New Castle County Council District 1 to fill the seat left vacant by Councilman Joe Reda's passing. Democratic Candidate Ken Woods has been hard at work campaigning in the district and will need your support on election day. Polls are open from 7AM to 8PM.

The New Castle County Democratic Committee will be hosting a U.S. Congressional Candidate Forum on Wednestday April 20. the Forum will be held at William Penn High School  and will begin at 7:00pm.
