Breathe for Life PAH Support Group: The next Breathe for Life PAH Support Group meeting will be Tuesday, March 18, 6:30pm, at Christiana Hospital, Room 1100. Pacem in Terris (Peace on Earth): The September 11th Coalition for Just and Peaceful Initiatives, a project of Pacem in Terris, invites the public to recognize the Fifth Anniversary of the Start of the Iraq War, Wednesday, March 19, Noon-1pm, at Rodney Square. At the gathering, names of some of the U.S. Service members who have died will be read as a banner honoring all our fallen soldiers will be displayed. Call 302-656-2721 for more info.

First & Central Presbyterian Church: First & Central Presbyterian Church, 1101 Market Street in downtown Wilmington, announces the spring season of its lauded Thursday Noontime Concerts, beginning in March and continuing thru May 15. Five Points Fire Company: The Junior Men and Junior Auxilary Ladies of the Five Points Fire Company will be having an Easter Flower and Baked Goods Sale on Friday, March 21 from 8am to 7pm; Saturday, March 22 from 8am to 7pm; and Sunday, March 23 from 7am to 3pm at the fire hall, located at 209 S. Maryland Ave in Wilmington. Proceeds are going to the Junior Men and Junior Auxilary Ladies.

Citizens' Hose Company: The Citizens' Hose Company Volunteer Firefighters will host an All You Can Eat Spaghetti Dinner, Friday, March 28, 5-8pm, at the firehall, 103 W. Commerce St., Smyrna. Cost is $7 per person, kids 10 and under eat free. Proceeds will benefit the 125th Anniversary Celebration.

Harrington Fire Company: The Harrington Fire Company will sponsor a Texas Hold'Em poker tournament on Friday, March 28, at 7pm, at 20 Clark St., Harrington. Meeting Ground: Meeting Ground, a faith-based organization that empowers homeless people in the Mid-Atlantic region, will benefit from "Improv," by the Delaware Comedy Theatre North, Friday, March 28, 8-9pm, at Presbyterian Church Hall, 15 North Old Baltimore Pike, Newark. Claymont Community Center: The Claymont Community Center will hold their inaugural Beef, Beer, & Casino Night Saturday, March 29, 7-11pm, at 3301 Green St., Claymont. Delaware Humane Association: Join Delaware Humane Association for their popular two-day adoption event featuring adoptable cats and a few dogs from the shelter. The event will be held at PetSmart's North Wilmington location in the Brandywine Towne Center  on March 29 from 10am to 8pm and March 30 from 10am to 4pm. Adult cats and kittens will be available for same-day adoptions to qualified applicants. A limited number of dogs can be seen for a meet and greet; only pre-adoption applications, however, will be accepted for dogs (no same-day adoptions). Edgemoor Community Center: The Edgemoor Community Center will hold their 6th annual celebration recognizing 30 years of continues community service. The National Breast Cancer Society: An all-day scrapbooking fundraiser to benefit The National Breast Cancer Society will take place Saturday, March 29, 10am to 10pm, at Corpus Christi Church Hall in Wilmington. Admission is $40 for the day and includes coffee and muffins, catered lunch and dinner, drinks and snacks. There will be vendors, door prizes, goody bags, and lots of fun. Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation: The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation will benefit from a Kids Cut-A-Thon, Sunday, March 30, Noon to 4pm, at The Head-Quarters, 1400 Philadelphia Pike (at the intersection of Philadelphia Pike & Silverside Road). Haircuts are $14 and 100% will be donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Appointments are not necessary and kids under 16 are invited to take part. Call 302-798-1639.

American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula: Don't miss the 1st Annual Caps and Corks at the Chase Center on Friday, April 4. The evening will feature 100 beers, 100 wines, a martini lounge, live music, and food from local restaurants. Tickets will be sold online or can be purchased at the door.
