Fine line to walk… Just requesting the stimulus money is not necessarily hypocrisy, the same as Democrats accepting the checks sent out after Bush’s huge tax cut. They are paying taxes that fund the Stimulus, so even if they disagree with its passing, they have a right to the funds. We all accept the laws on the books, even if we vote against them.
However, appearing at the ribbon-cutting ceremonies and pretending they were champions of the bill is complete hypocrisy. Those Republicans should be called out for sure.
