Sen. Biden sticks it to Bush

When asked this morning to respond to the ludicrous accusation that Congress standing up to the president (and, in doing so, accurately representing the sentiment of the American people) would ‘embolden the enemy,’ Sen. Biden pulled no punches:

“It’s not the American people or the U.S. Congress who are emboldening the enemy. It’s the failed policy of this president — going to war without a strategy, going to war prematurely.”

Even Sen. Lugar, sitting next to Biden on the set of This Week, had little to say in response…

    “Sen. Biden pulled no punches.”

And apparently, pulled no words, either. When Dana Milbank is criticizing a Democrat, it must be bad.
